El proyecto del disco Highlow Haiku suite nace de una voluntad de unificación y hermandad colectiva universal. Para ello se eligieron poemas de artistas de diferentes países, todas ellas englobadas en una temática de valorización de la naturaleza y del amor como vínculos indisolubes y coexistentes. Miguel Jaubert, en la parte musical, y Raquel Lojendio en la vocal, nos trasladan a atmósferas cambiantes que ascienden y descienden, sujetas siempre por un aliento vital de introspección caótica unas veces, y casi mística, otras.
MIGUEL JAUBERT
Cello player, self-taught guitarist and composer. He studied with Lluis Claret and Raphael Wallfisch. He has been a member of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and has belonged and composed for dance groups, theater, contemporary music, alternative, jazzrock, fusion, multimedia, audiovisual … He has a large number of recordings of his own songs in CDs and other formats. He is currently Vice Principal and cello teacher at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Canarias, Tenerife and also artistic director of the label and record platform Anaga Classics. He is a member of the group Major Tom Project, Iki-Gai Tube with Axu Peña. He is currently immersed in the projects; MÖSTING, cello, Sissi del Castillo percussion and Rodrigo Cornejo Visuals, a duo with Reaasri, singer from Malaysia and the latest project with the soprano Raquel Lojendio.
RAQUEL LOJENDIO
The versatility of soprano Raquel Lojendio has enabled her to build up an extensive repertoire, which spans composers as diverse as Bach, Mozart, Stravinsky, Verdi, Shostakovich or Wagner.
She has worked with conductors such as Sir Neville Marriner, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Juanjo Mena, Jun Märkl, Antoni Wit, Jesús López Cobos, Guillermo García Calvo, Víctor Pablo Pérez, Jiri Kout, Edmon Colomer and Vasily Petrenko.
She has performed with all the major Spanish orchestras, and internationally with the Berlin Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, Turin, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica “Giuseppe Verdi”, Trieste and the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse amongst many others.
